    这是我们连续第二年来到中国江西省于都县车溪乡,这一次我带来两位组员都是来自Perkiomen School的两位同学(Ian liu)和(Max Chen).这一次随着团队的壮大,我们打算要帮助“深圳台协丰产希望小学”。深圳台协丰产希望小学是一所面向当地社区学生的公立小学,致力于提供基础教育和促进当地儿童的教育发展,但根据我的去年的调查,因为地理位置偏远,许多英语教师和体育老师不愿意来到这所学校任教,导致当地缺乏英语教师和体育老师,所以孩子的英语课和体育课难以开展。我们团队打算做一个为期五天(2024/06/17)---(2024/06/21)的英语和体育教学,让孩子们爱上英语,爱上体育。

    This is our second consecutive year in Chexi Township, Yudu County, Jiangxi Province, China. and this time I have brought two team members from Perkiomen School (Ian Liu) and (Max Chen). This time with the growth of the team, we intend to help "Shenzhen Taixie Fengsheng Hope Primary School". Shenzhen Trixie Fengcheng Hope Primary School is a public primary school for local community students, which is committed to providing basic education and promoting the educational development of local children. However, according to my investigation last year, due to its remote location, many English teachers and physical education teachers are reluctant to teach in this school, resulting in the local area's lack of English teachers and physical education teachers. So children's English and physical education classes are difficult to carry out. Our team will do a five-day (2024/06/17)---(2024/06/21)English and PE teaching so that children can fall in love with English and sports.

  • Day 1 (6/17)

    团队在中国江西省赣州市集结,一起前往“深圳台协丰产希望小学”。我们于(6/17)日的早上早上抵达了“深圳台协丰产希望小学”,一到学校我们便开始了工作,我们走遍了整个学校,与校长进行了基本的交流,并确认了本次教学的主要对象是4-6年级学生。紧接着我们去到了住宿的地方,开始了讨论每个年级的教学内容,并开始备课,为明天的教学做准备。

    The team gathered in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, China and went to "Shenzhen Taixie Fengcheng Hope Primary School" together. We arrived at "Shenzhen Taixie Fengcheng Hope Primary School" on the morning of (6/17). We started to work immediately after arriving at the school. We walked around the school, had a basic communication with the principal, and confirmed that the main target of this teaching was students in grades 4-6.

    第二天我们一早就去到了学校,与老师讨论怎样教学生是最好的,讨论了课程的难度,主题,教学时长,为下午的课程做准备。到了下午Stephen Deng首先进行了教学,教学了3年级的英语课。以动物为主题,带着三年级的同学了解动物的英语,通过游戏来调动同学们的兴趣,总体质量非常好,同学们的积极性非常高,Stephen Deng的授课极大的提高了三年级小朋友对于英语的兴趣。午休过后,下午的体育课开始了。我们整一个团队出动,根据提前制定好的机会有序教学,做到了不错的效果,同学们都非常高兴

    The next daywe went to school early in the morning and discussed with the teachers how best to teach the students, the difficulty of the lesson, the topic, the length of the lesson, and the preparation for the afternoon lesson. In the afternoon Stephen Deng first taught, teaching a third-grade English class. Taking animals as the theme, we taught the Grade 3 students about animal English and aroused their interest through games. The overall quality was excellent and the students' enthusiasm was high. Stephen Deng's teaching greatly improved the Grade 3 children's interest in English. After the lunch break, the afternoon PE class began. We sent out a whole team, according to the planned opportunities in advance, orderly teaching achieved a good effect, the students are very happy

  • Day 3 (6/19)

    第三日轮到Ian Liu和Max Chen来上英语课了,他们分别负责五年级和四年级。 四年级的课题是食物,五年级的课题是水果。我们在昨天就和老师沟通过了,她们很认可我们的想法,将一些基本的单词都教授于同学们。课上同学们都积极互动,十分喜欢学习新的单词。下午我们团队继续开展体育活动,有乒乓球,有篮球,多种多样,促进同学们对体育的热爱。

    On the third day, it was Ian Liu and Max Chen's turn to have English class. They were in charge of Grade 5 and Grade 4 respectively. The fourth-grade subject is food, and the fifth-grade subject is fruit. We talked with our teachers yesterday and they recognized our idea and taught some basic words to the students. The students interact actively in class and enjoy learning new words. In the afternoon, our team continued to carry out sports activities, including table tennis and basketball, to promote students' love for sports.

  • Day 4 (6/20)

    第四天学校组织研学,所以我们一大早就来到了学校,因为我们整个团队需要留在学校照看没有报名研学的学生。我们带着他们复习学习的英语单词,并组织了篮球比赛,乒乓球比赛,同学都积极参与,体验了体育竞赛的乐趣。留在学校的同学们也很充实的过了一天。

    On the fourth day, the school organized study, so we came to school early in the morning, because our whole team needed to stay at school to look after the students who did not sign up for study. We took them to review the learning of English words, and organized basketball, table tennis sports, staying at school students also had a very fulfilling day.

  • Day 5 (6/21)

    6月21日是整个活动的最后一天,我们早早的来到学校,给学生颁发奖,一磁力鼓励同学们要继续学习英语,同时也不要忘记每日的体育运动。颁发完奖品,我上了六年级最后一节英语课。同学热情依旧不减,更加热烈。下午我们进行了本次计划的最后一节体育课,我们整个团队加入到了比赛中,亲在下场教学,同学们都很快能改造自己的错误,并且立马做出刚刚所学的技术要领。

    June 21st was the last day of the whole activity. We came to the school early to give awards to the students. We encouraged the students to continue learning English and not forget the daily sports. After awarding the prize, I had the last English class of grade Six. The enthusiasm of the students is still not reduced, more enthusiastic. In the afternoon, we had the last PE class of this plan. Our whole team joined in the competition and taught in the next class. The students were able to change their mistakes quickly and immediately make the technical essentials that they had just learned

    This activity lasted for five days, and I had the honor to lead a team of three to participate in this meaningful cause, bringing knowledge and joy to local students. During this period, our team of three mainly undertook the teaching tasks of English and physical education. In English class, we focus on basic words.
